A name can tell you where a place comes from. Ours does it in two parts.
First, the nine.
Street 9 connects different parts of Mokattam and is part of the neighbourhood’s identity. It belongs in our name because this is where our community comes from.
Then, the sky.
As the New Corniche and Abdel Meguid Mahmoud Axis developed, they opened up another view of Mokattam. Its elevation gives us open sky and views across Cairo.
That is the SKY in SKY9: the air above us, the city below and the wish to keep rising.
Where the two meet.
We brought SKY and 9 together around specialty coffee. Our name keeps us connected to Mokattam while leaving room for what comes next.
Come in for a cup. We’d like you to be part of our story.
